What is the best gear for sparring?
My friend and I have both done martial arts for years, but in different arts. I’m more of a grappler and a hand fighter, while he’s got some real power behind his kicks. What are the trusted brands of MMA-ish sparring gear? More specifically, what are some good models of gloves that won’t restrict grappling, and foot pads so I don’t have to get any of my ribs set again? Durability and price are also factors for consideration, but if there’s a great product out there, I’d apreciate hearing about it. Thanks.
