Why do people intend to say Bruce Lee was just an actor?

With the Internet now, you can easily search a story of his life and for physical / mental feats. Go to his wikipedia page, scrool a bit, and you can get a list. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Lee However, I reviewed many martial arts forums and those popular best "martial arts ever" son. Anyone who has appointed Bruce Lee was burned. What is the deal?

Well, I have no doubt bruce lee respect. I think that should get much credit because of his conditioning difficult, beliefs about full contact sparring (which was somewhat rare among martial artists at the time), and contributes to the idea of mixed martial arts popular in the U.S. (notice I said help and not create MMA existed long before him), I also liked his philosophy and teaches him martial arts for Asians particularly blacks not at the time. I notice you put a link to wikipedia … the thing about wikipedia is that anyone can edit it so that all the info isn't always done. one of the "exploits" the site says "Lee could spring an opponent 235 pounds with 15 feet 1 inch punch" now seems very far fetched that I mean, if you watch his videos thumb punch, you can say hes not going to throw people 15ft away perhaps a few feet, but 15? http://youtube.com/ watch? v = keS3OTNger8 other things such as "Lee could throw grains of rice in the air and catch them in midair with chopsticks." seem a lil off Me, too often, too often people on the comments of Bruce Lee and they know nothing about the man other than her movies and do they have heard amazing stories to about it. here one day i heard someone say Bruce Lee was a black belt in all martial arts. some people tend to nuts bruce HUG making him too an immortal god of fights I mean hes not prefect so he can be beat, and they talk about him and have no idea who people like Mas Oyama Benny Urquidez and are. i dont care who you are or how good you are, you can beat all you need is the right person at the right time you can not really blame people for being a lil skeptical because sometimes seeing is believing. we have people out there like Frank Dux claimed that train in ninjutsu in the fight kumite ground and work as a field agent for the CIA. no physical evidence of many people can fit the whole story they want. I'm not necessarily mean that Bruce Lee as Frank Dux's just something to think once more I must say that I respect the man and he will revolutionize the martial arts in America, but his early death and lack of fighting penalty leaves nothing but speculation in our minds, we know nothing for you. This early death hearsay and talent has given him legendary status that has helped to remind him immortal in our minds and give him many supernatural "feats"
